Congratulations, Sarah!

The Independent Reviewers of New England recognized Sarah as "Best Young Performer" for her performance as Baby June in "Gypsy" this past summer. When the nominations were announced, we were completely taken by surprise. Now that she has actually won, we are speechless.

While Sarah was unable to attend the award ceremony in person, Mike Ceceri, Director of Marketing and Communications for North Shore Music Theater, was there to accept the award on her behalf.

Sarah would like to thank Director, Richard Sabellico, Musical Director, Nick DeGregorio, the amazing cast and crew of "Gypsy," and of course, to the Independent Reviewers of New England for this honor.

Special thanks to Janine Molinari, without whom Baby June would have just skipped around stage without twirling batons or doing cartwheels into splits.

Broadway Kids Care Raises Money for Japan 2011/03/29

Sarah has been hard at work raising money for Japan Relief. When BKC contacted it's members looking for a project manager, Sarah eagerly stepped up to the challenge. Sarah designed the bracelets, and with some help from her mom, distributed hundreds of bracelets to other BKC members to use in their fund raising efforts. Sarah has been so successful in raising awareness, her school principal has ordered another few hundred bracelets to sell, the proceeds from which will be sent to BKC to include in their total donation. "No Ordinary Night"

Sarah will be performing as part of "No Ordinary Night," a kids cabaret celebrating young talent from the Broadway community, presented by "A Time to Shine."
