The Kid Who Would Be Pope
Sarah will be appearing in "The Kid Who Would Be Pope," one of 30 shows slated for the 2011 New York Musical Theater Festival. Tickets go on sale to the public on September 1, 2011. Tickets can be purchased from the New York Musical Theater Festival website.

Billy McPherson is the new kid at Our Lady Of Perpetual Motion and he has a lot to learn about parochial school. When he meets his drama teacher Sister Katherine, a beguiling novice who jogs and sings like Julie Andrews, he falls hopelessly in love, resolving to become Pope and change the rules of the church so that they can one day marry. This charming musical is about love, obsession and a young boy’s search for miracles.
THE KID WHO WOULD BE POPE was originally produced at Creative Arts at Park,
in Brookline, MA.
THE NEW YORK MUSICAL THEATRE FESTIVAL (NYMF)
NYMF has been the launching pad for a remarkable number of successes in New York and around the world. To date, festival productions have led to further life on Broadway, Off-Broadway, regionally (in 44 states) and internationally (in 16 countries) for such shows as Altar Boyz, [title of show], The Big Voice: God or Merman?, Captain Louie, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Gutenberg!
